Trish Smith is the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Trish joined
MainStreet Bank September 8, 2014.

She serves as the chair of the CHEER Committee, whose purpose is to plan activities to
maintain positive morale among employees, and a member of the Executive, Senior
and Tier Two Management Committees. Trish is a liaison between the Tier Two and
Senior Management Teams. Additionally, she facilitates training on Human Resources-
related topics to the Tier Two Management Team.

Trish’s Human Resources career started in the role of Human Resources Assistant in
1998 where her primary focus was on recruitment. Since then she has been promoted
to various positions throughout the Human Resources function and eventually became
Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources in 2009 for another community
bank. Trish has over 20 years of Human Resources experience within community banking.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Capella University.
Her community involvement includes serving as the Money Manager for her daughter’s
Daisy Troop 54053 and Vice President of the Centreville Elementary PTA Board. Trish
is most proud of her work on the Virginia Banker’s Association HR Committee, where
she has been a member for the past four years.
