Fairfax, VA: Mainstreet Bancshares, Inc. (OXCQX: MNSB), the holding company for MainStreet Bank, is pleased to announce the addition of five new hires to our growing team. These additions come as MainStreet Bank disclosed their first quarter performance on April 25, 2017. The bank reported a net income of $1.03 million for the first quarter of 2017, which is 18% higher than first quarter 2016 net income of $914 thousand.
The five new hires include lenders Tom Floyd, Jeremiah Behan, and Ellie Azar, business banker Billy Cullipher, and marketing officer Kelly Standiford.

On the production side, Tom Floyd has joined Mainstreet Bank’s commercial lending group as Senior Vice President, Regional Lending Manager serving the Fairfax area. Floyd brings over 10 years of experience with and most recently worked as a Senior Vice President at Capital Bank.
Jeremiah Behan has been hired as Vice President, Commercial Lender. Prior to joining MainStreet Bank, Behan worked for Washington First Bank. Additionally, Ellie Azar has been hired as Vice President, Commercial Lender. Prior to joining MainStreet Bank, Azar worked for Cardinal Bank. Based in the Clarendon branch, Billy Cullipher has been hired as Vice President, Relationship Manager.
Cullipher brings over 22 years of banking experience to the team and previously worked for BB&T and Bank of Georgetown.
Finally, Kelly Standiford has been hired as the Vice President, Marketing Director. Prior to joining MainStreet Bank, Standiford was the Marketing Director for a local accounting firm Ryan & Wetmore.
