Teaching Kids to Save
There is little that compares to the satisfaction you get from teaching a child. At a time when the Federal Government has elevated spending to a new art form, we are teaching students from elementary to high school how to become better, more financially strong consumers.
Led by our Business Development Team, we visited schools across Prince George County, Alexandria, Fairfax, Herndon and Centreville and reached out to over 750 students. The staff members who participated in this project found it to be a very rewarding experience.
The topics ranged from savings accounts, to the importance of earning interest, to the difference between debit cards and credit cards. Our staff engaged area students to help them understand a subject that is lacking in our school systems today.
As always, we're interested in your thoughts. Give us a call or click here: feedback@mstreetbank.comMeet MainStreet
Tom Lackey has been with us for over two and a half years. He is a man who wears many hats; most importantly he oversees our branch system.
From monitoring compliance with all of the countless laws and regulations surrounding banking, to ensuring we have the right staff in place to open our doors each day, Tom has more than enough work to do. Yet Tom is never too busy to sit down with a customer or employee to hear what is on their mind.
Tom has been busy these last several months opening up two new branches located in McLean and Clarendon, and is currently coordinating our Grand Opening for the Clarendon Branch.
Clarendon Grand Opening
You are invited to celebrate the Grand Opening of MainStreet Bank's Clarendon Branch. The grand opening will go from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm at 1000 N. Highland Street Arlington, VA 22201.

Q. What is the difference between a Smart ATM and a regular ATM?
A. Regular ATM's give you cash or account balances. Smart ATM's do everything normal ATM's do and more. With a Smart ATM, you can actually deposit checks or currency and receive an image of the items you deposited making it safer and easier to deposit money outside of open bank hours. We currently have a Smart ATM located at our Clarendon branch, and if you can't find the nearest branch ATM, just look for an AllPoint ATM located nearest you!
